Research.Lighting Expands Its Y Series with a Sculptural Table Lamp

We’ve been working on a few new additions to our Y Series for a while now and we're thrilled to introduce the Large Y Table Lamp! 

The Y Table Lamp keeps the familiar split form. One stem, two arms branching out, each holding a soft glass globe. The light moves in two directions, which makes it surprisingly useful on a desk, console, or side table. A little wider reach than a typical single-globe lamp.

It’s a simple piece, but the silhouette does a lot of the work. The Y shape feels balanced and slightly playful at the same time. Not rigid, not trying too hard either. It expands upon the existing pieces in the Y Series; the Y Flush Mount, Y Sconce, Y Pendant Mini, and Y Pendant Light.

A marble base keeps things grounded. From there, a slim steel structure lifts the globes up and out into the room. Solid materials, clear form. We’re offering the lamp with two globe sizes, so the scale can shift depending on where it ends up. Both versions use G9 LED bulbs and include an inline dimming switch.

Like the rest of the Y series, it sits somewhere between fixture and small sculpture. It lights the room, sure. But it also just looks nice sitting there. That’s enough sometimes.
